Update on Fr. Ponce’s Condition as of September 6,2020
Deacon Paul received the following e-mail from F. Ponce: I trust you are doing fine and our Parishioners are in good health and in high Spirits on this 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Let me greet you and all our brothers and sisters at St. Mary of the Angels: Happy feast of the Assumption. This feast reminds us that one of us, the Blessed Virgin Mary, is in heaven praying for us.
As for an update on my health, I had a CT scan last Tuesday one month after my surgery. I did not hear anything about the results but no news is good news contrary to that alarming phone call on the result of my CT scan before my surgery. I still have to see my surgeon this coming Tuesday, the Cardiologist and my Primary, week after next. Then I will have cardiac rehab that will take some time depending on my progress. I’m not sure when the process will end. It will depend on my progress and the judgement of the physician. In the meantime I’m still struggling with physical pain and bodily weakness and change in my sleep pattern. I am forever grateful for your prayers and the prayers of our People.
Peace and Blessings
